NBA Ticket Pricing:
As my Capstone Project for the NBA Future Analytics Stars Program, I developed a predictive model for Chase Center ticket prices. Using two seasons of Golden State Warriors ticket sales data (provided by the NBA) along with additional external game data, I identified key factors influencing ticket demand and pricing. My project was selected as a finalist in the program’s capstone competition.
Analysis of UFC Judging Criteria:
For my Senior Thesis at Syracuse University, I analyzed which factors most influence UFC judging decisions. I built a predictive model using historical fight data and used this model to identify how individual judges differ in how they value striking, grappling, and other scoring components.
UFC Pay-Per-View Sales:
This project analyzes which fighter attributes most strongly influence UFC Pay-Per-View (PPV) sales and quantifies the incremental value each fighter brings to an event. I utilized feature engineering and a mixed-effects model to separate brand-driven appeal from fighting style.
